Where is it applied?
- Paint industry. Adding it to paints, varnishes and enamels as a protective and coloring pigment protects these materials from the adverse effects of the environment and gives them a silvery color. Aluminum powder is used as a filler in the manufacture of resin-based plastics, added to rubbers and plastics.
- The construction industry uses aluminum powder as a blowing agent in the manufacture of cellular concrete. This type of concrete is widely demanded due to its low weight, heat and sound insulating properties and good strength.
- The use of aluminum powder in the manufacture of ceramic parts provides a lower wear of molds due to the envelopment of powder particles in the granules of the press powder.
