Sulfamic acid is a white or light gray substance with a crystalline structure. It is highly soluble in formamide, moderately soluble in water, insoluble in sulfuric acid and solvents of organic origin. At a temperature of 25°C, the density of amidosulfuric acid is 2.126 g/cm³, the substance melts at 205°C, and decomposition occurs at 260°C.
The production of sulfamic acid is based on the sulfonation of urea with oleum, followed by filtration and recrystallization of the reaction mass. Sulfamic acid can replace nitric and hydrochloric acids, sodium hydroxide, soda ash. It is effective, economical and easy to use.

Amidosulfuric acid should be stored closed for no more than 6 months from the date of manufacture. During storage, caking of the substance is possible.
