It dissolves well in water, alcohol, ether. Dichloranthin is produced by treating water with chlorine in the presence of 5,5-dimethylhydantoin. Hazardous substance for human health. Very toxic. Do not swallow, drink solutions, inhale dust. Harmful as an aerosol in the air. Avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes. Use with care, may cause burns. It belongs to the 5th hazard class.
