Calcium stearate is a complex chemical compound in the form of a thin, oily, homogeneous powder. Yellowish white or white. It is a salt of stearic acid. The production of the calcium salt of stearic acid is based on the combined heating of calcium hydroxide, stearic acid and fatty acids. Calcium stearate also precipitates when soap is dissolved in hard water.
We will not dissolve in water, however it is characterized by high solubility in organic solvents. It is non-toxic, but refers to substances that are flammable and explosive. Do not store near places where dust and static electricity are likely to accumulate. It must be stored in a dry, light-protected area with adequate ventilation.
