This oxide is a white crystalline substance, soluble in water. Arsenic oxide is an amphoteric oxide. Its aqueous solutions are slightly acidic, so they are easily soluble in alkalis, less soluble in acids .
Application :
The main application is the production of arsenic and its derivatives, including arsenic-containing organic compounds. Also used to make colored glass .
Arsenic oxide has also found use in medicine for the treatment of cancer .
