Metakaolin is a hydraulic pozzolanic additive to concrete that increases its density and durability.
It can also be used as a concrete softener.
Applications of metecaolin:
- as an additive in waterproof concrete,
- dry building mixes and grouts,
- production of FD concrete,
- as an additive in high-quality concrete, acid- and alkali-resistant structures,
- in the production of paving slabs, uniform coloring of concrete structures used in conditions of ground moisture.
The addition of metakaolin MK-40 improves plasticity, increases the durability and resistance of concrete to atmospheric and external influences.
Well modifies the structure of cement stone, helps to reduce efflorescence, increases the saturation of colored products. Due to the fact that the additive has a light color, it is an almost indispensable component in the manufacture of white and colored cements of high moisture resistance and strength.
