The substance is a colorless transparent liquid fuming in air. When interacting with water, it is completely hydrolyzed. The reaction proceeds violently with the formation and release of heat .
They will be used to obtain metallic metal (more pure with the help of TiCl 4 reduction). Titanium tetrachloride is used as a smoke generating agent. Also used in organic synthesis as a catalyst .
